Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal became the first Indian bowler to complete 350 wickets in the shortest format at Delhi.
In the pursuit of the daunting 222-run target at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced early setbacks as Yashasvi Jaiswal fell victim to Khaleel Ahmed’s delivery, departing for just 4 runs off 2 balls in the opening over. Rasikh Salam, the Impact Player, struck soon after to dismiss the in-form Riyan Parag, while Axar Patel accounted for the dangerous Jos Buttler during the powerplay phase.
However, RR found hope in their captain, Sanju Samson, who launched a blistering counterattack, smashing 86 runs off a mere 46 deliveries.
